Inside Line Promotions – WINDOM, Minn. (Oct. 16, 2017) – Big Game Motorsports returns to racing this weekend during a World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series doubleheader in the Midwest following two weeks off.

Kerry Madsen and the Muddy sponsored team will race on Friday at Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, Kan., for the FVP Platinum Battery Shootout and on Saturday at Salina Highbanks Speedway in Salina, Okla., for the Twister Showdown.

“Guy (Forbrook) and the guys have been working in the shop and have been busy,” Madsen said. “It has been a good chance to regroup for the rest of the year.”

Madsen has been successful at both ovals with the World of Outlaws. He was victorious in 2014 at Lakeside Speedway.

“It’s always a favorite,” he said. “It’s a track that has a similar shape to Knoxville. They get a good crowd. For me it’s a close race because it’s only three hours away. I’m looking forward to it.”

Madsen’s best result at Salina Highbanks Speedway was a runner-up result, which also came in 2014 when the race was cut short because of track conditions.

“It’s a pretty exciting track,” he said. “It has an awesome layout. It’s pretty fast. I’ve always done well there. I’ve never won, but have run second there. I think our car should be suited to these two tracks this weekend.”

Madsen and the Muddy backed team have four wins – tied for fifth most – and 14 top fives – seventh most – in a limited number of starts with the World of Outlaws this season.
