Inside Line Promotions – WINDOM, Minn. (Jan. 29, 2018) – Kerry Madsen will kick off his second season with Big Game Motorsports this weekend in Florida.

Madsen and the Muddy sponsored team are slated to compete Thursday through Saturday at Bubba Raceway Park in Ocala for the Bubba Army Winter Nationals with the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions.

“I’m excited to get back with the Big Game team and start our season,” he said. “We had a great season last year. We gelled really quickly and that led to a lot of success so I can’t wait to see how we can build on that this year.”

Madsen set quick time twice, made the dash all three nights and netted a pair of top-five feature finishes, including a win, during an All Star tripleheader at Bubba Raceway Park last year.

“It’s a unique track that I’ve adapted to fairly well,” he said. “Turns one and two are sweeping and turns three and four are like the top of an egg. I feel pretty comfortable there and I think that’s an important part of being successful.”

Madsen has five feature victories in the last four seasons at the oval, which offers him plenty of confidence. He also enters this weekend fresh off his third straight Australian championship.

“It was a great, great time in Australia,” said Madsen, who earned a handful of wins in Australia in the last few weeks. “I think that helps being able to race during the winter in Australia and then come back to the United States without any layoff. It helped us get off to a fast start in the Big Game car last year and I think it will do the same this year.”

The Muddy backed team produced eight wins, 34 top fives and 51 top 10s in 59 races last season.
