Inside Line Promotions – WINDOM, Minn. (April 16, 2018) – Kerry Madsen and Big Game Motorsports will return to action this weekend during a World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series tripleheader.

The Muddy sponsored team is scheduled to compete on Friday at Riverside International Speedway in West Memphis, Ark.; on Saturday at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 in Pevely, Mo., during the Spring Classic; and on Sunday at Tri-State Speedway in Haubstadt, Ind.

“It feels like the season is finally starting,” Madsen said. “I’m excited to get back into the motion and get going. It feels like a long break since Las Vegas.”

The team last raced on March 1 and was unable to compete last Saturday at Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa, because of wet weather.

This weekend’s action showcases a trio of high-banked bullrings.

Madsen said he’s competed at Riverside International Speedway once in his career, which came during the World of Outlaws last visit in April 2009. Madsen earned a seventh-place result.

Madsen has a lot more laps at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55, where he scored a World of Outlaws win in 2014 and earned at least one top-10 finish per season from 2010-16 before not visiting the oval last year.

“It’s without a doubt one of my favorites,” he said. “It’s one of the few tracks left that doesn’t shave the top off. It pays to be aggressive on the top line. It always produces a great race.”

Madsen has numerous top-five finishes in his career at Tri-State Speedway, including a dash win and a fifth-place feature result during his most recent race in 2016.

“It’s a technical little joint,” he said. “I’ve had good runs there so I’m looking forward to getting back there.”
