Inside Line Promotions – PORT ROYAL, Pa. (Oct. 30, 2018) – Big Game Motorsports driver Kerry Madsen will wrap up the 2018 season this weekend during the World of Outlaws World Finals at The Dirt Track at Charlotte.

CJB Motorsports will field a second entry during the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series event this Thursday through Saturday in Concord, N.C., where Madsen will make his second start in the Muddy sponsored No. 5m.

“It’s a bittersweet type thing,” he said. “You look forward to it because it’s a big event and fun to go to, but at the same time it’s the last race of the season.”

Madsen made his debut with CJB Motorsports last weekend during the Tuscarora 50 at Port Royal Speedway, where rain washed out the preliminary night and shifted the finale to Sunday. Madsen qualified 17th quickest in his group before he maneuvered from sixth to fourth place in a heat race, which was only one position shy of locking into the main event.

“We did well in the heat to get to fourth, but we weren’t good enough in the LCS to make it,” he said. “It was one of those nights that didn’t go well. We didn’t qualify as good as we needed to. It was a disappointing finish, but hopefully we can make up some ground and get it better for this weekend.”

Madsen placed a career-best fourth during both nights of the World Finals last year. He has nine career top 10s during World of Outlaws starts at the oval.
