Inside Line Promotions – WINDOM, Minn. (Nov. 5, 2019) – The season is down to the final weekend for Big Game Motorsports driver Kerry Madsen.

The KI Crossbows sponsored racer heads to The Dirt Track at Charlotte in Concord, N.C., this Thursday through Saturday for the Can-Am World Finals.

“I’m pretty excited,” Madsen said. “The curtain is getting dropped on the season, but we’ve had a good direction the last few weeks. Hopefully we can use this as a platform to spring into 2020.”

Madsen earned career-best fourth-place results during both nights of the World Finals in 2017. He has 10 career top 10s during World of Outlaws starts at the oval.

“Being in position is key and just driving a smart race,” he said. “Usually the last half of the race the lines change so being in a good position is important.”

Madsen enters this weekend with five top fives and 13 top 10s during Outlaws events this year. He is locked into being the top-finishing driver in the World of Outlaws championship standings who isn’t a full-time competitor.

“With the changes early in the year we got behind and didn’t get in front,” he said. “We had some great runs, but we underachieved. I feel the steps we’ve taken at the end of the year will pay off next year.”
