Inside Line Promotions – WINDOM, Minn. (Nov. 17, 2020) – Big Game Motorsports enjoyed one win, 17 top fives and 42 top 10s during a season when the Killer Instinct Crossbows sponsored team utilized a true outlaw-style schedule.
There was no chasing points, rather the team elected to select the best opportunity to race each week throughout the pandemic-stymied 2020 season.
The lone feature triumph came in early August at Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa, where Kerry Madsen guided the team into Victory Lane during the 30th annual My Place Hotels 360 Knoxville Nationals presented by Great Southern Bank.
Madsen also produced top 10s at the half-mile oval during World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series as well as Ollie’s Bargain Outlet All Star Circuit of Champions competition.
Additionally, Big Game Motorsports finished the season with seven top fives and 22 top 10s during World of Outlaws action. Madsen capped the year as the highest-ranked driver who wasn’t a full-time racer with ‘The Greatest Show on Dirt.’
Big Game Motorsports added five top fives and a dozen top 10s during All Star races.
It was recently announced that David Gravel will take over driving duties for the team beginning in 2021 as a full World of Outlaws schedule is on tap. Gravel finished this year with seven World of Outlaws wins, which was tied for the third-most in the series. He added 30 top fives and 45 top 10s – both ranked third most – despite missing multiple Outlaws races.
